COLLEGE PROGRAMME
The County in the Community College programme offers participants the chance to study towards a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Performance based at Llanwern High School.
Having achieved this, students are supported in their next pathway whether it be moving on to study various degree programmes across the UK, enrolling on the Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development, (delivered in partnership with the University of South Wales), playing and studying in America and apprenticeship opportunities with local and national organisations.
Alongside the education element of the programme, the students have the opportunity to train 3 times a week and represent Newport County AFC in a competitive games programme which is overseen by the English Football League Trust.
